When there is a weather event or emer-
gency that may cause building or com-
pany closures, employees may call an
info line for current status. Once a deci-
sion has been made about closures, the
voicemail message will be updated.

of your portal home page for an easy-

from any phone. Security will assess the
situation and they will contact the appro-
priate emergencymanagement agency.
In Albany, Columbia, Omaha and
Manhattan, contact your manager or
HR department for assistance. For all
other offices, please dial 911 for emer-
gency situations.

problems
To get immediate desktop support
for computer issues, IT customer ser-
vice techs are ready to help at exten-
sion 2939.
To place an IT work order, email Net-
work Serv-for work orders.
For building
maintenance issues
Leaky faucets, sticky doors, creaky
chairs — Facilities can handle it all.
Contact your building coordinator to re-
port the problem or email Building Ser-
vices to place a work order for prompt
attention to your building maintenance
needs.
For employment
verification
Buying a home or a new car? Leasing an
apartment? Applying for a loan? You’ll
need proof of employment or income.
Afac has partnered with The Work
